Many have been in touch to ask how they might continue to give financially to the parish whilst we continue to deal with restrictions as a result of COVID-19. The Archdiocese has launched a system which allows you to make one-off payments directly to the parish, which also gives the opportunity to Gift Aid the donation. All you need is your credit/debit card. Click on the link below to make a donation.
If you would like to set up a Standing Order to make a regular payment to the parish, the details are as follows:
Bank of Scotland account no. 00692549, sort code 80-06-88, account name Our Lady and St Andrew RC Church. This is the consolidated account for all three churches which was spoken of a few weeks ago. If you are a UK tax-payer, please consider signing a Gift Aid declaration, which will earn the parish an extra 25% on your donation at no cost to you. Please email me at email@example.com and I’ll send you the form.
There is absolutely no obligation or expectation on anyone to make donations. These are testing times for many, and we appreciate that money will be tight for many of you, and for some time to come. If this is the case, and you already donate by standing order, you may want to consider reducing your contribution until finances are more stable for you.
In the meantime, let’s keep praying for each other; hopefully, we will all be reunited at the altar soon.
